The subconscious mind does not care about what we consciously call reality. There are times when the conscious mind is completely unaware of the fact that something is happening outside of it, but it is happening. For example, if our subconscious mind has decided to wake us up at 2 am, there is no way for our conscious mind to stop that awakening. The conscious mind may even be aware that something is occurring but unable to do anything about it. The subconscious will not be confused by the conflict between what the conscious mind wants and what the subconscious desires.
